What precautions is Balance 180 taking to keep everyone safe?
Based on the latest COVID-19 figures in our community and the recommendations of our medical team all fully vaccinated visitors and staff will be able to work or visit the gym without wearing a mask, effective June 21, 2021. Masks will remain optional for all of our athletes. We will continue our policy of social distancing, frequent hand sanitation in classes and sanitizing the equipment in between classes.
Staff members who are not fully vaccinated will continue to wear masks in the facility. We also ask that visitors who are not vaccinated, protect themselves and others by wearing a mask. We will continue to monitor the situation and consult our medical experts regularly. Please note if the course of the virus changes, masks may again be required. Thank you for your understanding and support of our athletes and staff.
What do classes look like?
Considering safety precautions and limited guest capacity, our class sizes are smaller and require 15 minute breaks in between to allow for safe entry/exit as well as equipment cleaning. Athletes rotate through stations with proper distancing and hand sanitizing between stations.
What do I do if I feel sick?
If you or your athlete feels sick, reveal a fever, or have symptoms such as muscle aches, GI issues, cough, nausea, or vomiting, please notify us and stay home until they subside. Depending on the circumstances of the symptoms or level of exposure, we will be in touch regarding the timing of your athlete’s return. We are happy to work with you to schedule make-up classes upon your return.
