Building More Than Muscle

Get ready for an unforgettable night under the stars! The Moonlight Muscle Meet is a family fitness fundraiser hosted by Balance 180 Gymnastics & Sports Academy — bringing together athletes, parents, and community members for friendly competition, teamwork, and strength with purpose.

All proceeds support Balance 180’s mission to make gymnastics and sports accessible for children of all abilities through scholarships and adaptive programs.

Thank you for being part of the movement that builds more than muscle!

How It Works

Grab a crew of 2 to 4 people — parents, kids, siblings, or friends — and join us for a night that builds strength and confidence in the best way: together! Each person participates with a $45 donation, and teams need at least two members to get started. Every team brings something special to our community.

All challenges are designed for all ages and abilities, and every team member receives an event t-shirt. Our goal is simple: move together, cheer each other on, and help expand programs that open doors for children of all abilities.

All proceeds support Balance 180 and our Family Fitness Fundraiser — Strengthening our Community’s Youth.

When: February 7, 2026
Where: Balance 180 Gymnastics and Sports Academy

Strengthening Our

Community's Youth

Every pull, push, and cheer helps create opportunities for kids to thrive — regardless of ability. Your participation directly supports athlete scholarships and adaptive gymnastics programs, helping every child find their strength, their confidence, and their place to belong.

The Sleepover!

Keep the fun going after the competition ends! Join us right after the Moonlight Muscle Meet for our epic Balance 180 Sleepover, running from the end of the event until 9:00 AM.

The sleepover is a special add-on for Muscle Meet teams, giving kids ages 5 and up the chance to extend the night with pizza, games, music, and plenty of late-night fun. Friends are welcome as long as they’re registered as part of your team, and the cost is a $90 donation per child.

We’ll have everything kids love — movement, laughter, and a full night inside the gym with their teammates. Bring your sleeping bag, your team spirit, and get ready for a night they’ll never forget!

All About Registration

There are two easy ways to register your team for the Moonlight Muscle Meet and/or Sleepover — you can either donate directly through PayPal or fundraise through GoFundMe, cash, or check.

Both options support Balance 180’s Family Fitness Fundraiser, strengthening our community’s youth through movement and inclusion. See below for more details on how to join the fun using your preferred method!

Sponsor a Family

If you would like to sponsor a family’s participation in the Muscle Meet or the sleepover, we would be truly humbled by your support. Your generosity helps ensure every child in our community can take part in the fun, the movement, and the confidence-building moments that make this event so meaningful for our athletes.

You can donate online at gofundme and note in the comments that you’d like your gift to support a family’s registration — or email us directly if that’s easier.

Your support makes a real difference for the kids who call Balance 180 home.

The Divisions

We offer multiple divisions so every family can join in, regardless of age or ability. Movements are guidelines — each team decides how to divide the work to match their strengths. Adaptive athletes are welcome in any division, and we’ll adjust movements as needed!

Everyday Explorers

Level

Easy

These stations turn your child into your teammate — sometimes the “weight,” sometimes the leader, always in on the action. Perfect for families who want to play, laugh, and move together without needing any fitness experience.

Examples include:

  • Mat pushes with your child riding: parents push while little ones cheer or “drive.”
  • Parent–child carry challenges: piggyback carries, koala hugs, or hand-hold pulls that feel like playtime.
  • Crawl/walk/run races: your child rides, leads, or sets the pace while you follow.
  • Push + pull tasks: gentle sled pulls, rope holds, or pulling a mat together.
  • Teamwork obstacles: side-by-side under beams, over beams, through tunnels, or helping each other balance.

What to Expect

  • Beginner-friendly and totally modifiable
  • Safe, silly, and full of high-fives
  • Kids feel like the star
  • Parents get a light workout without pressure
  • Fun for toddlers, big kids, parents and grandparents alike

Momentum Makers

Skill Level

Medium

These stations step things up with faster moves, longer distances, and a bit more strength — still fully family-friendly, but designed for teams who want a real challenge while staying playful.

Examples include:

  • Mat Push Power Runs: parents push a bigger mat while kids ride or help steer.
  • Partner Carries: piggybacks, side carries, or supported “koala” holds over a longer route.
  • Crawl–Climb Courses: a mix of tunnels, beams, and short sprints kids lead the way through.
  • Team Pull Tasks: rope pulls or mat drags done together with purpose and speed.
  • Dynamic Obstacles: over beams, under beams, around turns, into the pit and onto mats without stopping.

What to Expect:

  • Fun intensity without pressure
  • Kids and parents rely on each other to complete each station
  • Great for families ready to move more and push a little harder

Mighty Muscles

Level

Hard

This level is for teams who want to go all-in — bigger pushes, longer carries, faster courses, and real teamwork. It’s still safe and modifiable, but it brings the heat in the most fun way.

Examples include:

  • Max Mat Push Sprints: heavy mat, longer lanes, kids riding, steering, or giving “race commands.”
  • Strength Carries: piggybacks or supported carries through obstacles, adding steps over beams or small directional changes.
  • Crawl–Climb–Sprint Gauntlet: fast crawls, quick climbs, beam sequences, and a sprint finish.
  • Power Pulls: rope pulls or mat drags with real resistance — parent and child pulling together with intent.
  • Obstacle Attack: continuous over/under beams, directional turns, fast transitions, and controlled landings.

What to Expect:

  • High-energy, competitive feel without being intimidating
  • Kids feel like true teammates and motivators
  • Every station tests teamwork, speed, and strength
  • Perfect for families who want the full “muscle meet” experience

Adult & Masters Division

Choose your

CHALLENGE

This division is just for adults, with two options to choose from: Adult (ages 18 to 45) or Masters (45+). There are no kids in this lane, and you get to decide exactly how hard you want to go. Whether you prefer an easy effort, a steady medium challenge, or a full-out push, every station can be scaled to your comfort level. Move alongside fellow community members, cheer each other on, and take on a challenge that supports a great cause.

Movement Standards Include:

  • Mat Pushes: light, moderate, or heavy mats depending on your chosen intensity
  • Rope Climbs / Chin Holds: rope stand, rope pulls, partial climbs, or full climbs if you’re ready
  • Beam Overs + Unders: walk-throughs, faster transitions, or dynamic sequences
  • Core Challenges: planks, wall sits, or harder progressions
  • Medicine-Ball Carries: choose your weight — light, medium, or heavy
  • Pull + Drag Tasks: rope drags, mat pulls, or sled pulls

What to Expect:

  • Choose your own intensity at every station
  • Scalable for beginners, weekend warriors, and athletes
  • A fun way to push yourself without pressure
  • Built around camaraderie, community, and supporting Balance 180’s mission
